The media continues to cover the Federal Racketeering trial that it in progress in the Federal District Court for the Wester District of Kansas. Maughan and Maughan LC lawyer, Carl Maughan represents a client accused of racketeering as a member of an alleged Wichita street gang known as the Crips. Below is a link to a local news article regarding yesterday's tesimony. The article is not exactly representative of the evidence. For example, it fails to mention that the black cap found in the vicinity of the bank not only contained DNA from the firm's client but also that of two other unknown people. The article also fails to mention that at least one of the witnesses testified that the perpetrator wore a blue cap. Nevertheless, it gives one a sense of the proceedings.
