Faith Maughan, a former partner of the law firm Maughan and Maughan LC, was recently appointed to be a judge of the 18th Judicial District of Kansas. Following her appointment to the bench by Governor Sam Brownback, Faith took the oath of office as a Judge in April 2013.
As a result of Judge Faith Maughan's departure from the firm, the law firm Maughan and Maughan LC has changed its name to The Maughan Law Group LC. Founding Partner, Carl Maughan, will continue operation of the firm.
The changes in administration of the firm presented an opportunity to review how we can better serve our clients. As a result of this review, the law firm has become more streamlined and efficient in an attempt to increase our ability to serve the interests of our clients. The office we formerly maintained in Lenexa, Kansas has been closed and we have reduced the number of lawyers associated with the firm. The firm is now leaner and more able to respond to the needs of our clients.
